1. How did you get in to fitness or pilates or both?

I have danced since I was three years old, so fitness has always been a part of my life. Through high school and college, I danced around twenty hours a week. I added workouts at the gym with a personal trainer and various group classes. I was introduced to Pilates as a junior in college. I was taking a conditioning for the dancer course and Pilates Mat was part of the class. In 2013, I found Absolute Pilates and shortly after, finished my certification in Equipment Pilates, Mat Pilates, and Barre.

2. What is your favorite part of teaching?

My favorite part of teaching is watching clients grow and reach their fitness goals. It is so exciting when I know I have helped someone on their weight loss journey, get fit for their wedding, or even learn a new exercise in class.

3.What makes you and/or your work unique?

My dance background is what makes me and my work unique. In 2015, I developed a barre training program called Absolute Barre, with my co-founder Allison Zang. My dance background gave me the technical training to write a barre program and my passion for sharing my love for barre drives me to pass my talents along to my staff members and to my clients.

4. What is your favorite other type of exercise?

I love to dance and I love aerial yoga. I always love trying new types of fitness.

5. What is your favorite indulgence?

Bread, cheese, and chocolate. Especially hot and melty.
