1. How did you get into fitness?
I was a dancer for about 16 years. During college, I took a break from all physical activity. Once I graduated, I realized that just wasn’t going to work for me anymore, so I tried to find something I could use with my dance background. Ta-da! Pilates!
2. What’s your favorite part of teaching?
-My favorite part of teaching is when someone says “oh I can’t do that” and then seeing the look on their face when they realize they actually can!
3. What makes your work unique?
My teacher friends here at The Studio have always been very vocal about my um.. Glutes! I love working on the back side and I know for a lot of us, that can be a big problem area.
4. What’s your favorite other type of exercise?
-Walking! I love walking around the neighborhood! It’s not so strenuous that you can’t talk while you do it. My boyfriend and I like to catch up on our days while we stroll through the sidewalks. It’s a great way to connect and get some steps in at the same time!
5. What’s your favorite indulgence?
Where do I start?! I love love love pasta and cheese! They are my absolute guilty pleasures. I don’t really have a sweet tooth, but on the weekends, I love a well made drink or two at happy hour. That’s where I usually get my sugar fix!
