Absolute Pilates Announces the first Anniversary of The Studio by Absolute Pilates the barre and group fitness studio
Absolute Pilates in Mechanicsburg, which has been offering quality private Pilates instruction for almost 10 years, is pleased to announce the first anniversary of The Studio by Absolute Pilates. The Studio offers an innovative approach to group fitness including Barre, Yoga, and Pilates Mat Classes. A celebration will take place March 18, 2017, from 8am to 1pm.
Allison Zang MS PMA-CPT, founder and owner of Absolute Pilates and her co-owner Lauren Kutz CPT at The Studio by Absolute Pilates invites the community to celebrate the highly anticipated first anniversary of their Barre Studio. The Studio by AP is proud to have been the West Shore’s first barre studio offering a new boutique feel with high-quality barre classes. The Studio by AP is located at 1322 Saxton Way, Mechanicsburg, PA— in crossroads by Arcona. This free health and wellness event takes place on Friday night at 5:30 and Saturday, March 18 from 8:00am – 1:00pm. Instructors will be offering demo classes and will also tour visitors through the new facility. Attendees will enjoy refreshments and nibbles, and a sidewalk sale of up to 50% off fitness wear and more. Special discounts on classes and individual Pilates sessions will also be offered at the event. The event is FREE to the public and all ages and fitness levels are welcome. Along with the traditional Barre and Pilates classes, new fitness classes include:
BARRE CLASS – The latest in sculpting and toning at the Ballet Barre. These routines have been fine-tuned to deliver the best results based on the best the Barre has to offer without the knee or low back issues. We use light weights to sculpt the arms, tough ab and glute work on the floor, and of course, Barre work with variations you have never seen or felt. Join us and change up your routine to keep your body changing in the right direction.
MAT PILATES – The fundamental principles focus on balance, concentration, control, centered awareness, fluid movements, and breath. Pilates enhances core strength that increases flexibility, coordination, and spatial awareness. Pilates engages the whole person, not just the muscles. Athletic ability and coordination are not a requirement for Pilates, as all exercises can be modified to any level. Pilates involves over 500 exercises, which will help you gain muscle strength, improve flexibility, and build a stronger core.
CARDIO BARRE – Takes your traditional barre class and bring up the cardio element a notch for some extra calorie burn!
PIYO- a strength, stretch and flexibility workout promising to deliver the same results as yoga, pilates and interval training combined. It is powerful, dynamic and will make you work at a high intensity to burn calories, torch body fat and shed unwanted pounds. It features all of the benefits that you get from Yoga and Pilates, including flexibility and core training, but with an added emphasis on cardio and strength training to really make you sweat.
STRENGTH BARRE – Takes your traditional barre class and puts the focus on building strength all over the body.
UPPER BODY BARRE – Takes your traditional barre class and turns the focus to the arms, back, and chest.
JUST BARRE – Can’t get enough of the barre portion of a barre class? This class is perfect for you! Just like the title of the class, this class takes place entirely at the barre from the warm up at the beginning to the stretching at the end.
BARRE STRETCH – This class combines barre work with an extra long stretching component so that you walk out the door feeling lengthened.With a focus on flexibility, this class is designed to elongate muscles and enhance posture.
BOSU BALANCE BARRE – Your favorite barre class, but mostly on a BOSU. This class will focus on balance, control, and core strength.
